Today's Cash & Tourney play

Having ramped up my $60 cash deposit to $225 in Tournament tokens on FT (which I plan to use in bigger GTD tourneys in the future), I'm back at BlueSq on the 50c/$1 cash tables.

I played a couple of hours earlier today whilst installing Windows XP SP3 onto two PCs (lots of sitting waiting) but finished around $40 down. So I decided to register for a $24 / 12 Man SnG instead. I got to heads up for either a $120 or $60 payout and we got them All-In pre-flop on the second to last hand ...

$60 is still a good return for 40 mins but hmmm ... I've had lots of cashes recently, some like this, quite significant in relation to my $200 bankroll on BlueSq, but I can't help feeling I'm due something ... more substantial. Like y'all, I continue on in hope.

Nice result!

The problem is some players just cant lay down to a re raise pre flop when they are clearly behind....i just got bust out of a 18 man sng....i was second in chips! the button (chip leader) raised 3xBB(450) on my BB. i got KK so re raise another 1500....he calls. obviously there is and ace on the flop lol - but no draws! he checks to me, so i push (mibbe the wrong move?) and he calls with A5o and i bust out....damn it! clearly he wasnt afraid of a bigger ace lol!

ok so thats 50p i owe, thanks for listening ha :)

Any time. I'm not one for bad beat stories (honestly!) but I do like hearing that there are players out there - at many limits - who are simply unable to lay down A-rag and K high hands to shoves.

Hopefully soon I'll find a game / buy-in big enough where this is not common practice.

VUL again M8..... horrible sort of hand to lose at that stage.

Still it was another cash so well played :-)

$40 down in the cash game...... so have you ordered the Harrington books yet? ;-)
